Certification in Long-Term Care

CLTC®, Certification in Long-Term Care:

Bradford Creger earned the CLTC® designation in July 2004.  The Certification in Long-Term Care (CLTC®) designation was created in 1999 and focuses on the discipline of extended care planning.  It provides CLTC® professionals the critical tools necessary to discuss the subject of longevity and its consequences on their client's family and finances.  Designees learn how to mitigate these consequences by developing a plan to protect their clients and their families.

Extended care is a field of study similar to those of insurance, financial services, law and accounting.  The field focuses on the severe consequences of providing care over an extended period of time.  The best way to protect families is not to sell a product, but offer advice that leads to a plan to mitigate those consequences.

Brad also has first-hand experience on how providing care for a loved one (his father) can impact the family life both emotionally and financially.  See Our Passion to Serve for a more detailed discussion of Brad’s personal experience with the long term care of a loved one.
